PROMOTION 2011-12
The Bridges to Adulthood Program is pleased to introduce their first promoting class of 2011-2012! We wish them success and happiness in their lives. We will miss them, but know they are ready to embrace new adventures.
HIGH SCHOOL TRANSITION
"MOVEMBER"
Students and staff participated in what is known as "Movember" to support men's mental health! The students who participated did not shave for the entire month of November.
RTA (TRANSPORTATION)
ENCHANTED FOREST
Students showcased their decorating talents with a holiday light display. The cold rainy night was just the setting for a stroll through the garden with hot chocolate!
PROMOTION
High school students eligible for the Bridges to Adulthood Program will begin touring the program in March. In April, families will be invited to an Open House to learn more about the program. Transition IEP meetings will be held in late April and May to future discuss the Bridges Program.
We are pleased to annouce that in the Fall of 2015, we will be presenting an RTA workshop. All students in the program will have an opportunity to learn more about the services available with RTA.
Promotion of our 3rd graduating class will be on Thursday, May 21st, at 4:30 pm.
EMPLOYEE OF THE WEEK
Each week, the job coach and staff review student work performance and select an employee of the week. Students receive a certificate and have their photo posted on the board. We are so proud of the job skills of our students and so thankful for the employers in our community who support our program.
